Job summary

Lewis Energy Group is seeking a Driller to supervise the drilling crew and lead operation of the rig in South Texas. The role includes acting as a first responder for well control and guiding the crew through drilling programs with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will oversee rig movement, maintenance, and crew training while coordinating with leadership to ensure timely, compliant operations in a demanding oilfield environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 5 years drilling experience.
• Familiarity with well monitoring computer-based systems and touch screen interfaces.
• IADC Well Control certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise five drilling rig employees, train crew, plan and assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Operate drilling rig and monitor wellbore integrity following drilling program and safety procedures.
• Maintain safety culture, inspect rig, and ensure compliance with policies at site.
