Job summary

Carlson Tool & Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a Machinist on 2nd Shift to learn hands-on CNC operation in a family-owned, team-oriented environment.

You’ll receive comprehensive training from experienced mentors on the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of CNC machines. We offer weekly pay starting at $21/hr, a 2nd shift differential of 10%, full health care including dental and vision, an HSA, PTO and paid holidays, a gainsharing program, a self-directed 401(k) with a 3% company

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience or a mechanical background.
• Basic measurements and shop math.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Team players who value safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Prior machinedrilling and/or CNC machining experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision machines.
• Monitor machine operations, ensuring top-quality results and making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate forklifts (training provided).
• Communicate openly with trainers and managers, actively learning and applying feedback.

As a Machinist on 2nd Shift in our Gun Drilling, Deep Hole, and Honingareas, you’ll receive hands-on comprehensive training from experienced mentors on the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of CNC type machines.
