Job summary

Carlson Tool & Manufacturing Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a Machinist on 2nd shift to join our precision machining team. You’ll work with gun drilling, deep hole, and honing processes on CNC machines, receiving hands-on training from experienced mentors.

You’ll set up and operate equipment, monitor quality, maintain a safe, organized work area, and benefit from weekly pay, shift premium, comprehensive benefits, and a strong culture of learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to read basic measurements and perform simple shop math.
• Willingness to learn and work safely in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision CNC machines in Gun Drilling, Deep Hole, and Honing areas.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure top-quality results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; operate forklifts after training.
• Participate in ongoing training and apply feedback to improve performance.

As a Machinist on 2nd Shift in our Gun Drilling, Deep Hole, and Honing areas, you’ll receive hands‑on comprehensive training from experienced mentors on the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of CNC type machines.
