Carlson Tool & Manufacturing Corporation in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a 2nd Shift Lathe Machinist to produce high-precision parts on Mazak lathes, set up programs, and read blueprints. This role rewards ownership, focus, and a quieter shift.
The company offers competitive pay, a $30/hr starting rate with a 10% shift premium, a $2,500 signing bonus, relocation assistance, full health care, HSA, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.
Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is growing, and we’re looking for skilled 2ndShift Lathe Machinists who want more than just a job — they want to be part of a company that values precision, craftsmanship, and people!
Based in Cedarburg, WI, we’re a family-owned company with an over 65-year tradition of investing in our people and our technology. Our culture is built on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement — where every team member takes pride in their work and contributes to building solutions for industries like automotive, medical, energy, and consumer products.
In this role, you’ll help manufacture high-quality, precision parts — from smaller chuck work up to 160″ long and 36″ in diameter — by creating CNC lathe programs using Mazatrol, identifying tooling needs, and maintaining precise inspection records. You’ll work in a clean, climate-controlled, well-equipped facility where your skill and attention to detail make a real impact. If you’re someone who takes ownership, likes solving problems, and enjoys a quieter, more focused second shift — you’ll feel right at home here.
And did we mention perks like our on-site Carlson Recreational Center? Think weightlifting, cardio, a golf simulator, pickleball court, and more — open to employees and their families.
At Carlson, we believe great people build great things — and we’d love for you to be one of them. We are great about appreciation.
