Carlson Tool & Manufacturing Corp. in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Milling Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC vertical and horizontal milling centers.

You will inspect your own work with precision tools and handle short-run jobs with frequent changeovers, ensuring high-quality parts in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating CNC vertical and horizontal milling centers.
• Ability to read part prints and technical drawings.
• Capable of calculating dimensions with micrometers and calipers.
• Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish.

• Proficiency in operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers— required
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
• Proficient in calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical skills and precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• Capable of machining precision parts from start to finish
