Job summary

WCL Group in the United States seeks experienced Drilling Consultants to support a Fortune 100 oil and gas company as Drill Site Representative in the Permian Basin or Bakken. You will lead wellsite operations for unconventional shale drilling, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

The role requires extensive drilling experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of oil and gas drilling experience, including supervising unconventional drilling operations.
• Proven leadership of diverse field teams with a strong safety and performance culture.
• Demonstrated procedural discipline, risk management, and Stop Work Authority leadership.
• Valid Well Control Certification; IADC Well Control Training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

This is an opportunity for experienced Drilling Consultants to join WCL Group and support a Fortune 100 oil and gas company as a Drill Site Representative in the Permian Basin or Bakken. The role involves leading wellsite operations for unconventional shale drilling, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. Ideal candidates will have extensive drilling experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years of oil and gas drilling experience, including supervising unconventional drilling operations
• Proven leadership of diverse field teams with a strong safety and performance culture
• Demonstrated procedural discipline, risk management, and Stop Work Authority leadership
• Valid Well Control Certification (IADC Well Control Training provided if needed)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
