Job summary

WCL Group seeks a Drilling Consultant/Drill Site Representative for Permian or Bakken field locations. You will lead on-site drilling teams, manage logistics, and drive safe, cost-effective operations in shale environments. A proven track record in unconventional drilling and strong leadership are essential.

The role requires a valid Well Control Certificate, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to coordinate contractors while maintaining safety and efficiency across field sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of oil and gas drilling experience, including unconventional operations.
• Valid Well Control Certification and ability to pass a background check.
• Strong leadership and safety culture with proven field supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead drilling site teams safely and efficiently.
• Plan, assess risk, and ensure work adheres to procedures and permits.
• Direct rig contractors and service providers on safety and standards.
• Manage wellsite logistics, costs, and documentation in WellView.
• Drive continuous improvement and incident prevention.
