Job summary

D.R. Horton is hiring a Sales Representative to guide customers through the homebuying process, from initial inquiry to loan and construction coordination. You will source new customers, qualify needs, and ensure a smooth, professional experience.

You will maintain relationships with customers and realtors, meet sales goals, and work closely with team members to deliver quality homes and services. A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years related experience.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to drive daytime or nighttime.
• Ability to utilize DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop.
• Ability to apply common sense to instructions written or conveyed verbally or via DRH Sales applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds; ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Communicate DR Horton’s value proposition and product capabilities to customers.
• Understand customer goals and position DR Horton as the best solution.
• Close sales and maintain accurate transaction documentation from sale through loan and construction.
• Source new sales opportunities and follow up with prospects.
• Develop and present marketing plans to establish new customer relationships.
• Build rapport with customers, realtors, and team members.
• Attend sales meetings and contribute to team success.
