You will guide senior leaders, oversee procurement, and ensure escalations are resolved with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include driving carrier expansion, managing rate structures, and ensuring robust performance metrics, with accountability for financial results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in drayage, intermodal, or transportation management with leadership roles.
• Experience in carrier procurement, negotiations, network development, and pricing.
• Knowledge of port/rail operations, chassis, and drayage service risks.
• Ability to analyze margins, costs, and capacity to drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute drayage strategy aligning procurement, operations, staffing and coverage.
• Lead department leaders to achieve service, profitability, and productivity goals.
• Establish ownership, goals, reviews, and staffing plans for scalable growth.
• Direct drayage sourcing, rate agreements, capacity commitments, and reviews.
• Expand carrier network based on demand, coverage, and performance.
• Oversee carrier onboarding, pricing structures, and performance actions.
• Provide oversight of execution, dispatch, tracking, and billing readiness.
• Represent drayage in customer reviews and align with contracts and commitments.
• Standardize SOPs, rate structures, and reporting across teams.
