Job summary

Maersk Freight Brokerage in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Drayage specialist to deliver exceptional service to clients and carriers. You will apply your port operations knowledge and brokerage experience to optimize drayage and logistics.

Responsibilities include maintaining carrier relations, resolving freight issues, and coordinating shipments end-to-end. A strong background in trucking, port logistics, and CMS/TMS tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise and experience in Drayage and port operations.
• Proven track record in the Logistics/Trucking industry with results.
• Strong self-starter with ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Solid understanding of transportation and drayage terms for stakeholder comms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and adaptability to systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.

• Motivated to achieve KPIs and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with carriers, focusing on drayage and port ops.

• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments efficiently.
