Cargomatic is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for the West End Express operation in Dayton, NJ. The role focuses on supporting drayage customers, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring shipments move efficiently in the NY/NJ market.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in transportation logistics, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with Trinium and related systems.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in transportation/logistics.
• Strong understanding of NY/NJ terminals, appointments, container moves, per diem, storage and detention.
• Experience working with multiple transportation and customer systems.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned accounts.
• Communicate with customers on pickups, deliveries, appointments, delays and status.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries/pickups with customers and dispatch.
• Monitor containers to avoid per diem, storage and detention charges.
• Proactively address potential issues with customers and dispatch.
• Document communications, scheduling changes, exceptions and resolutions.
