Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Cold Chain Freight Brokerage professional to join our Dayton, NJ office and support drayage brokerage in a fast-paced setting.

You will build and maintain relationships with carriers, leverage port-operating knowledge, and track shipments daily to ensure on-time delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential, with a focus on KPIs and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Drayage with knowledge of port operations and brokerage.
• Proven track record in Logistics/Trucking and drayage delivery.
• Strong communication, self-starting, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with carriers for drayage services and port operations.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues related to shipments.
• Communicate with carriers and leadership, ensuring alignment of goals.
• Track and trace shipments daily to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Schedule pick-ups and deliveries, optimizing resources and timelines.
• Negotiate pricing and perform market analyses for drayage and OTR services.
