Job summary

Maersk Freight Brokerage USA is seeking a capable Drayage Specialist to join our team in Dayton, KY. You will manage drayage operations, nurture carrier relationships, and ensure timely shipments within our cold storage brokerage framework.

Strong knowledge of port operations and broker platforms is required. You will research freight and billing issues, negotiate rates, and collaborate with brokerage leadership to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field.
• Extensive North America port and yards familiarity.
• Experience with Broker platforms and TMS.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers for drayage services.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues.
• Coordinate drayage and port operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track shipments and negotiate pricing with carriers.
• Collaborate with brokerage leadership and teams.
