Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Drayage Specialist to join our freight brokerage team within a Cold Storage Facility. You will deliver exceptional service to clients and carriers, focusing on drayage, port operations, and logistics workflows.

Ideal candidates have strong negotiation skills, experience in Logistics/Trucking, and proficiency with broker platforms/TMS and MS Office. This is a full-time on-site role with KPI-based monthly bonuses; compensation ranges around

Qualifications

• Experience in Drayage, with knowledge of port operations and brokerage.
• Proven track record in Logistics/Trucking and achieving results.
• Strong communication, time management and self-starting abilities.
• Understanding of transportation terms and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficiency with broker platforms/TMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with carriers focusing on drayage services.
• Research and resolve freight and billing issues in port logistics.
• Communicate with carriers and brokerage leadership to align goals.
• Track and trace shipments daily to ensure timely delivery.
• Schedule pickups/deliveries and optimize resources.
• Negotiate pricing strategies for drayage and OTR services.
