Job summary

Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation (MMTC) seeks an entry-level Draws Coordinator to support our Draws Department in processing construction loan disbursements and maintaining accurate records.

You will handle intake, documentation, and communications with borrowers and contractors, working with inspection review and disbursement staff to keep draws moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency with cloud-based platforms and multiple OS.
• Proficient in Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Strong multi-tasking with high-volume loan-file management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customer-service focus.
• Must be able to work in-office as required (min 3 days/week, 5 preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent; finance/business coursework a plus.
• Prior mortgage servicing or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; background and credit check.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming draw requests: intake, documentation review, data entry into loan systems.
• Communicate with borrowers and contractors by phone and email about draw status and documentation.
• Review and organize draw packages, inspection reports, and lien waivers.
• Track multiple loans in a shared queue and prioritize by deadline and status.
• Coordinate with inspection reviewers and disbursement staff to move draws forward.
• Maintain audit-ready records in the servicing system.
• Escalate exceptions or disputes to senior Draws staff as needed.

Draws Coordinator (Entry-Level)

Department: Draws — Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation (MMTC)

Location: Denver (DTC), CO | Tampa, FL |

Schedule: In-office 3 days/week minimum; 5 days/week preferred

Status: Full-Time

About the Role

MMTC is a commercial-purpose-only lender specializing in fix-and-flip, multi-family, and ground-up construction financing. The Draws Department manages construction and rehab loan disbursements across MMTC's portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely fund releases tied to project progress and inspection results.

This entry-level role supports the department's core draw processing and borrower-service functions, working alongside inspection review and draw disbursement staff. It's an opportunity to build a foundation in construction loan servicing within a growing department central to the company's Draws Management initiative.

Job Responsibilities

• Process incoming draw requests: intake, documentation review, and data entry into cloud-based loan servicing systems
• Communicate directly with borrowers and contractors by phone and email in a professional, customer service-focused manner regarding draw status, required documentation, and disbursement timing
• Review and organize draw packages, inspection reports, lien waivers, and related documents (PDF/Adobe Pro, Office 365)
• Track multiple loans and draw requests simultaneously across a shared queue, prioritizing by deadline and loan status
• Coordinate with inspection reviewers and disbursement staff to keep draws moving through the approval pipeline
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records within the loan origination/servicing system
• Escalate exceptions, delays, or borrower disputes to senior Draws staff as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency; comfortable operating in a cloud-based environment across browser- and app-based platforms and multiple OS types
• Working knowledge of Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Strong multi-tasking ability — comfortable managing a high-volume queue of concurrent loan files
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-service orientation
• Must be available to work in-office as required by management, such as a minimum of 3 days per week (5 preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in finance, business, or a related field a plus
• Prior experience in mortgage servicing, construction lending, or customer service preferred but not required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check and credit review required as a condition of employment.
