Plymouth is seeking a Drawbench Operator for 1st shift (7am–3pm) in its Value Stream department. You will set up and operate drawbench equipment to reduce OD/ID/wall of steel tubes, ensuring safety, quality and on-time production.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings and measurements, and strong teamwork. Experience in manufacturing is preferred; training will be provided to become proficient in the equipment and processes.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be trainable with good comprehension of equipment processes.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to safety.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate steel tube reduction equipment to adjust OD/ID/wall.
• Review mill orders to optimize processing.
• Determine tooling needed and ensure conformance to specs.
• Operate computer terminal, forklifts, and cranes as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Participate in problem solving and kaizen events to improve performance.
• All other duties as assigned.
