Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) Engineer to support legacy DRAM products across their manufacturing lifecycle.

You will focus on yield improvement, product reliability, and component failure analysis to enable stable production for automotive and industrial customers. Responsibilities include electrical failure analysis, statistical data analysis, and AI-supported workflows, with coordination across Product, Process, Quality, and Test Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
• Coursework in VLSI, device physics, semiconductor processing, programming, and statistics is desirable.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to adopt new technologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical failure analysis to understand failure mechanisms.
• Identify causes of component failures through statistical data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve fabrication and assembly process defects and test flow marginalities.
• Use statistical data analysis, data visualization, and AI tools to identify trends, accelerate root cause investigations, and improve component performance.
• Communicate findings clearly through written reports and presentations.
