Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Yield Analysis (DA) engineer to characterize electrical data and identify device issues impacting yield. You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to translate data into end-of-line performance predictions using machine learning.

Responsibilities include analyzing end-of-line data, developing new yield-analysis tools, and driving process improvements. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s with 5 years in semiconductors or higher degrees and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in engineering/semiconductor field.
• Experience extracting, analyzing and reporting data in a semiconductor setting.
• Strong communication and ability to present complex analyses clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-of-line test, parametric and fab data to identify yield-impacting issues.
• Develop new tools for yield analysis and apply ML to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify interactions between process modules/equipment to detect fail mechanisms.
• Lead multi-area focus teams to troubleshoot complex yield issues.
• Publish and present reports on process experiments and support transfer to manufacturing.
