Dram Yard Restaurant at ARRIVE Wilmington is seeking a steward/dishwasher to maintain a clean kitchen and prep areas, support service, and collaborate with the kitchen team at a dynamic hospitality venue. You will ensure dishes, utensils, and equipment are spotless and stocked for service, while contributing to a positive, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Steward/Dishwasher in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment
• Must possess a positive attitude
• Must be energetic and outgoing
• Must be service oriented
• Demonstrates a full understanding of their role and carries it out in line with their job description
• Works effectively with the rest of the team
• Is able to prioritize tasks and demonstrate effective time management and coordinating, controlling and managing different resources
• Communicates clearly, professionally and concisely whilst actively listening to others and giving consideration to their needs and opinions.

Responsibilities

• Making sure all cooking equipment, cutlery, china and work stations are clean at all times.
• Working efficiently so all equipment, glassware, flatware, and dishware are properly stocked and ready for service.
• Helping to maintain all equipment, glassware, china and cutlery in order to preserve quality.
• Coordinating with Kitchen Management on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Collecting and placing produce, proteins and other necessary ingredients in their respective places.
• Sweeping kitchen floors before and after service.
• Cleaning the walk-in fridge and making sure all food storage areas are clean.
• Maintaining the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Working positively and professionally with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth operation and an enjoyable workplace for all.
