Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID is seeking a Senior DRAM Power Architect to influence power efficiency of AI-enabled memory products. You will develop power models, run AI-assisted analyses, and translate requirements into architectural improvements.

Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, and System Architecture teams across the product life cycle to balance power, performance, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of industry experience or Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Experience in DRAM architecture, memory subsystems, or power analysis and modeling.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts across engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform AI-assisted DRAM power analysis including IDD characterization and workload-based modeling.
• Develop and maintain power models, methodologies, and tools for evaluating DRAM architectures.
• Translate system and customer power requirements into architectural recommendations.
• Define and support DRAM power targets throughout product development.
• Partner with Design, Product Engineering, and System Architecture teams to implement power improvements.
