Magic Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air seeks a Drains Service Technician to diagnose and fix drainage issues in homes and businesses in Jerome, Idaho. You’ll work from start to finish, using cable machines and hydro-jetting, while delivering friendly customer service and professional workmanship.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1–3 years in drain cleaning or plumbing, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll join a team that values integrity, safety, and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of drain cleaning or plumbing service experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Completion of plumbing-related training preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform drain cleaning using cable machines, hydro-jetting, and other industry tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues like blockages, backups, and slow drains.
• Provide upfront pricing and estimates, and get customer approval before starting work.
• Document notes, photos, and parts used for each job.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance and proper drain care.
• Work with dispatch, customer service, and other technicians to keep jobs on schedule.
• Follow safety protocols, company policies, and local plumbing codes.
