Job summary

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in civil engineering and a Texas PE license, with 4+ years in related civil engineering, drainage analysis, and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and PE license for Texas.
  • Experience in drainage, floodplain, and capital project management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with iSWM practices and floodplain administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate drainage-related capital projects from planning through closeout.
  • Prepare drainage reports, floodplain studies, and related technical documents.
  • Review plans and submittals for drainage and floodplain compliance.
  • Coordinate with developers, consultants, and regulatory agencies on drainage matters.
  • Serve as the City’s Floodplain Administrator and maintain floodplain records.
