Job summary

Volkert Inc. is seeking an experienced Drainage Project Engineer to support our Southwest Region, particularly in San Antonio or neighboring cities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of progressive drainage or water resources experience, including TxDOT.

This role involves responsibilities such as data analysis for project plans, designing stormwater systems, and collaborating with various disciplines. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, ESOP, medical, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of relative/progressive drainage/water resources and TxDOT experience.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure preferred or the ability to acquire it within 6 months.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data for inclusion in Project Plans and reports.
• Design stormwater management and storm drain systems using engineering software.
• Analyze and design hydrologic and hydraulic models for projects.
