Volkert Inc. is seeking an experienced Drainage Project Engineer to support their Southwest Region, specifically in Austin, Houston, McKinney, Rockwall, Round Rock, San Antonio, or Tyler, TX. The successful candidate will engage in activities like data analysis for project plans, stormwater management design, and collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 4 to 6 years of related experience, particularly with TxDOT standards. This role offers comprehensive benefits, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive drainage/water resources and TxDOT experience.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure preferred or ability to acquire it within 6 months.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data for project plans and reports.
• Design stormwater management and storm drain systems.
• Analyze and design hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Permitting with different regulatory agencies.
• Prepare project construction details and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with other professionals to deliver projects.
