Volkert Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Drainage Project Engineer for their Southwest Region in Texas, including locations like Houston and Austin. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 4 years experience in drainage/water resources along with TxDOT experience.

Qualifications

• 4 years of progressive drainage/water resources and TxDOT experience.
• Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure preferred or ability to acquire it within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and analyzing data for Project Plans and reports.
• Designing stormwater management and storm drain systems.
• Analyzing and designing hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Permitting with different Regulatory and Water Management agencies.
• Preparing project plans using OpenRoads Designer.
