Job summary

Volkert Inc. is seeking an experienced Drainage Project Engineer to support various projects in the Southwest Region, including Round Rock, TX. This role requires at least 4 years of progressive drainage/water resources experience and TxDOT familiarity.

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of drainage/water resources and TxDOT experience.
• Valid Professional Engineering Licensure preferred or ability to acquire it.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data for Project Plans and reports.
• Design stormwater management and storm drain systems.
• Analyze and design hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Assist with project plans using OpenRoads Designer.
• Prepare project construction details, quantities, and specifications.
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver quality projects.
• Mentor junior level support staff.
