Job summary

The City of Cibolo is seeking a Drainage Foreman to lead field operations and supervise multiple crews in maintaining drainage infrastructure. You will allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in line with departmental standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL-Class A preferred or obtainable within 12 months.
• Traffic flagger and work zone safety certificates or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise assigned personnel, including the street sweeping crew, ensuring safe and efficient work.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities between multiple drainage crews per Superintendent priorities.
• Assign and distribute work using Cartegraph for tracking and communication.
• Oversee and monitor work order progress across crews; ensure timely completion and documentation.
• Coordinate with Crew Leaders on job assignments and workload distribution.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure quality, efficiency, and standards compliance.
• Provide direction during multi-crew operations and emergency responses.
• Ensure safe practices and proper PPE usage.
• Assist in training and mentoring to standardize procedures.
• Coordinate with other City departments for joint operations.
