Job summary

The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Drainage Foreman to provide field leadership, supervision, and operational coordination to support maintenance of the City’s drainage infrastructure. This role directly supervises personnel and works closely with Crew Leaders to coordinate multiple crews, prioritize daily activities, allocate resources, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility
• 3 years of supervisory or lead role
• Valid Texas Driver’s License (CDL‑A) preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Traffic flagger and work zone safety certificates or ability to obtain within 12 months
• TYMCO Sweeper Maintenance Training completed or ability to obtain within 12 months

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises assigned personnel, including the street sweeping crew, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Coordinates daily and weekly work activities between multiple drainage crews
• Assigns and distributes work through Cartegraph for proper tracking and communication
• Oversees work order progress and ensures timely completion and documentation
• Coordinates with Crew Leaders on job assignments and workload distribution
• Conducts field inspections to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Provides direction during multi‑crew operations and emergency responses
• Ensures safe work practices and proper PPE usage
• Mentors employees to ensure consistent procedures and practices
• Coordinates with City departments for joint operations and project support
• Ensures compliance with MS‑4, SWPPP, and other regulatory standards
