Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes and permitting processes.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Licensed Architect is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design and construction process for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop, review, and oversee project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman Architect Project Manager to oversee and manage architectural aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to drive successful project execution. This is an onsite, full time position with a well established Architect firm in Montgomery, AL.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
• Professional experience in architectural drafting or a closely related role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes and permitting processes.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Licensed Architect (preferred but not required).
