Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Draftsman Architect Project Manager to oversee architectural aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This onsite, full-time role requires leadership, technical expertise, and strong project management to finish on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in architectural project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes and permitting processes.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Licensed Architect is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design and construction process for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop, review, and oversee project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet performance goals.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design issues, and enforce quality control.
• Oversee contractor work, ensuring adherence to architectural design and project specifications.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate approvals and permits required for construction projects.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Utilize project management software and tools to track milestones, deliverables, and documentation.
