Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Lakewood, CO invites motivated interns to join our team. You will provide technical support to SEL staff and customers while developing knowledge in SEL processes and technologies.

You will participate in testing of new and existing technology and document test results. The internship emphasizes applying SEL Values, World Class Manufacturing Principles, and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

  • Experience in programming and script files.
  • Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems.
  • Knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software.
  • Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Visio.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Background check satisfactory to SEL.
  • Negative drug test results.

Job description
