Job summary

MPG Dover is seeking a CAD Drafter to create new and revised RF product designs using CAD tools, producing assemblies, part drawings, schematics and BOMs. You will prepare layouts, PCB schematics, and wiring diagrams for final product design and input BOMs in ERP systems.

The role requires 2D AutoCAD, Inventor 3D modeling, PCB layout knowledge, and GD&T familiarity. A technical drafting certification or CAD degree is preferred, with strong MS Office and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical school certification in drafting and math.
• Associate degree in mechanical CAD or directly related job experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
• Proficient with 2D AutoCAD and Inventor 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of PCB layout software, Diptrace or equivalent.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5M and ASME B18.6.3 awareness.
• MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook. Knowledge of PCB layout software, Diptrace or equivalent. General understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5M. General knowledge of machine screws per ASME B18.6.3. Minimum of 2-year technical school certification in drafting and math.
