You will collaborate with design engineering to ramp new products and apply data-driven methods to forecast needs.

Qualifications include a engineering degree with 5+ years in manufacturing or 10+ years progressive experience, plus ERP and MS Office proficiency.

Develops and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Documents manufacturing methods in a manner in which others can produce a product with little or no knowledge of the product.Aids in product design utilizing Design for Manufacturing and Assembly concepts. Works with design engineering for introduction of new products to production.Analyses and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.Confers with vendors to determine product specification and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts.Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs. Confers with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, etc. to facilitate production processes.Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements.
