Job summary

Amazon Lab126 seeks a DPO Materials Manager to ensure production-ready component supply. You will analyze signals, apply ROP-based ordering, and drive procurement with supplier partners.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with demand planning, engineering, and commodity teams to define required materials, monitor global shipments, and report costs and risks to leadership. Strong data skills and AI tool experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high-volume, global environment.
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership and working in large teams or multinational settings.
• Experience collaborating with global and local stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in materials management: BOMs, CTB Analysis and Reporting, Reorder Points, stock calculations.
• Cost management experience: Costed BOMs, Cost Reporting, Gap Analysis, E&O mitigation and reporting.
• Strong data analysis skills, especially in Excel; experience applying AI tools to analytics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze device supply signals and drive CTB using the ROP process, partnering with demand planning teams.
• Identify and drive solutions to reduce or eliminate gaps in supply plans and material shipments; report risks to Dallas and Manchester facilities.
• Authorize and drive supplier partners to procure material to support program goals.
• Gather, analyze, and report material costs (material, transit, tariff, duties) in Amazon systems and exec reviews.
• Manage and report risks of excess and obsolete material.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and commodity managers to define required materials for production, testing, and development.
• Manage Contract Manufacturer's compliance to warehouse standards, including FIFO rotation at Dallas and Manchester facilities.
• Maintain material supply records and provide data feeds to procurement and planning systems to support CTB and ATS calculations.
