Job summary

Citi is seeking a Branch Manager SAFE Act in Washington, DC to lead a sales and service team, drive branch metrics, and strengthen client relationships. The role reports to Consumer Sales leadership and focuses on growth, loyalty, and risk-aware decision making.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, monitor budgets and operations, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a full-time leadership position within Citi’s Branch Sales team.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience required.
• Previous experience in banking or financial industry preferred.
• Proven experience managing teams.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Consistently demonstrates analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer branch sales, service, control and management of human resources.
• Manage staff to ensure clear priorities and high levels of customer service.
• Execute planning and budgeting activities to meet branch goals.
• Conduct daily huddles and communicate goals, strategies, initiatives, and expectations.
• Monitor performance to meet branch metrics and improve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee branch controls and compliance to manage risk and audits.
• Identify training needs and career progression; supervise performance evaluations and hiring.
• Lead recruitment of staff across sales and operations and onboarding.
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
