Job summary

Responsibilities include trash removal, sidewalk cleaning, litter control, and assisting with events while providing outreach to those in need. Regular reports and attendance at meetings support downtown improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.
• Previous experience performing manual work.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations to keep downtown clean and safe.
• Perform trash, leaves, snow, and ice removal across designated areas.
• Pressure wash sidewalks and maintain cleanliness.
• Remove litter from planters, tree pits, and stairwells.
• Ensure bus shelters are clean and free of litter.
• Empty and maintain trash receptacles throughout the area.
• Engage with local businesses and employees to address concerns and promote cleanliness.
• Assist with event preparation and cleanup.
• Provide Human Services outreach to those in need within the community.
• Complete weekly activity reports using Microsoft.
• Attend community meetings as requested by the supervisor.
• Collaborate on problem-solving when issues arise.
• Regularly assess city property to ensure they are operational.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
