Qualified Staffing in Owosso, MI seeks a Downstream Technician for a long-term role. Pay is $19.50 per hour on 2nd shift; weekends may be required. You will join a manufacturing team focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.

You will perform visual inspections, label finished goods, monitor units produced, assist with line changes and setups, and follow SOPs to package products for delivery while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• A+ attendance is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior solid industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills needed.
• Some physical labor may be required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct final visual inspections and label all finished goods to ensure quality.
• Track quantity of units produced to monitor efficiency.
• Package products for delivery following SOPs.
• Maintain a safe working environment using PPE.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns and downstream equipment setup.
• Stay current on product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of line operations and facility housekeeping.
• Build and maintain job skills through company training programs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Downstream Technician

Duties:

• Ensure quality by conducting final visual inspections and labeling all finished goods.


• Track the quantity of units produced from the production line to ensure efficiency.


• Utilize standard operating procedures to package products for delivery to customers.


• Maintain a safe working environment, consistently using Personal Protection Equipment to ensure safety.


• Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and downstream equipment set-up.


• Stay current on product specifications and packaging requirements.


• Practice continuous improvement, including line operations and facility housekeeping.


• Build and maintain job skills and increase earning potential through company training programs


• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A+ Attendance


• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Previous solid industrial or manufacturing experience preferred


• Basic Math skills


• Ability to do some physical labor
