Job summary
Repligen is seeking a Field Applications Scientist for Downstream Filtration to lead technical discussions with customers and accelerate adoption of its filtration portfolio. You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D to solve complex bioprocessing challenges and influence process decisions.
The role requires deep expertise in downstream bioprocessing, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% domestically with occasional international travel.
Qualifications
- ~5+ years in downstream bioprocessing, process development or related customer-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of tangential flow filtration and downstream development.
- Experience in scale-up/scale-down, tech transfer, and cGMP environments.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical customer solutions and influence stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 75% and occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical leader for downstream filtration applications and guide customers.
- Develop data, reports, and training materials to support portfolio growth and new launches.
- Partner with Sales, PM, Marketing, and R&D to drive adoption and customer value.
