Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Downline Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm). Pay starts at $18/hour base plus shift differential, with adjustments based on experience. You will operate equipment such as Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead and Elevator, ensuring quality and efficiency.

No experience is required and comprehensive training is provided. Gehl Foods offers full benefits, PTO and holidays, tuition reimbursement, an HSA option, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• No experience required; thorough training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Fast-paced environment; reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated production equipment to standards.
• Conduct quality checks per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and communicate problems.
• Maintain GMP and 5S-compliant workspace.
• Hand stack cases off conveyor.
• Document critical parameters accurately.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOP's
• Effectively troubleshoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements
• Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5s standards
• Hand stacks cases off conveyor when necessary
• Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters

What You'll Need

• No experience required - we provide thorough training
• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs)
