Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Downline Operator for the 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm) to support multiple packaging lines, including Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, and more. You will perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure GMP/5S standards are met while documenting key parameters.

No prior experience required; thorough training is provided. The role requires standing for 8+ hours and lifting up to 30 lbs and offers growth opportunities, a full benefits package, and a competitive

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines to spec (Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, Elevator).
• Perform quality checks per SOPs.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and clearly communicate problems.
• Maintain GMP and 5S standards in work area.
• Hand-stack cases off the conveyor when needed.
• Document and maintain critical parameters accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for operations to standards on the following: Accumulator, Diagraph, Laser, Capper, Straw Applicator, Shrink, Wrapper, Mead, and Elevator
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with Gehl Southeast SOP's
• Effectively troubleshoot, adjust, and communicate problem statements
• Must maintain a work area that complies with all GMP and 5s standards
• Hand stacks cases off conveyor when necessary
• Accurately document and maintain any critical parameters

• Previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience a plus—but not required!
