Job summary

Fortress Downhole Tools is seeking a Downhole Tool Assistant to support field operations and coordinate tool-related tasks with customer representatives. The role includes maintenance, recycling, and reporting on the Cyclops Tool program using iFortress software.

You will ensure equipment readiness, assist in deliveries, and uphold a high standard of integrity while traveling to support customers across districts (5-15% travel).

Qualifications

• Downhole tool experience is essential.
• Self-motivation and attention to detail are key for high-quality work.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office, and Prophet 21 ERP is required.
• Forklift training and proficiency with basic hand tools are essential for tool handling and maintenance.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Clean driving record; CDL is a plus for travel.
• Candidate must pass drug screen and background check.
• Travel to other districts is expected (5-15%).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute tool pickup and delivery for Cyclops Setting Tool.
• Wash, disassemble, and rebuild Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools per instructions under supervision.
• Use iFortress software to report on the Cyclops Recycling Program and keep records.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and ready for use.
• Assist in tool delivery and pickup as needed.
• Maintain professional work ethic and integrity in all interactions.
• Communicate with customer field representatives to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Manage operational tasks efficiently and use problem-solving to overcome challenges.
• Stay updated with Windows 10, MS Office, and Prophet 21 ERP for digital operations.
• Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared for travel to support operations.
