Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions LP in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a reliable Tool Assistant to support maintenance, handling, and recycling of Fortress Downhole Tools. This role collaborates with customer field representatives and assists with pickup, delivery, cleaning, disassembly, and rebuilding of Cyclops Setting Tools under supervision.

The position requires weekends/holidays, 5:00 AM–7:45 AM start windows, and a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience working with tools such as teardown, cleaning, or rebuilding.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery of Cyclops Setting Tools.
• Wash, disassemble, clean, and rebuild Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools per work instructions.
• Document recycling and tool activities using company software.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Assist with tool deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customer field representatives.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

We are looking for a reliable and mechanically inclined Tool Assistant to support the maintenance, handling, and recycling of Fortress Downhole Tools. This position will work with customer field representatives and assist with the pickup, delivery, cleaning, disassembly, and rebuilding of Cyclops Setting Tools under supervision.

• Location:Canonsburg, PA 15317
• 7 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Overtime as needed
• Start time may vary between 5:00 AM and 7:45 AM depending on workload
• A 14 days on / 7 days off rotational schedule may be implemented as the team grows
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with Cyclops Setting Tool pickup and delivery.
• Wash, disassemble, clean, and rebuild Fortress Cyclops Setting Tools according to work instructions.
• Use company software to document recycling and tool-related activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Assist with tool deliveries and pickups as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customer field representatives.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be honest, reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Previous experience working with tools, mechanical equipment, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or manual labor is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience working with tools such as teardown, cleaning, or rebuilding is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Must be computer literate and comfortable learning new software.
• Basic hand-tool knowledge.
• Forklift experience/training is preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
• Candidates should demonstrate stable work history and reliable attendance.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required, approximately 5-15%. Travel to other locations, including Northeast Pennsylvania or Columbus, Ohio, may be required, with per diem available.
