Job summary

Martin’s Bakery is seeking a Dough Preparation Employee to create our renowned dough with careful machine setup and monitoring, ensuring consistent quality.

You will work with mixers, sheeters, ovens, proofer and other equipment, following recipes and safety guidelines to support production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Related experience in baking or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, monitors, and adjusts machines including mixer, SBD, sheeter, pan line, oven, and proofer in accordance with fluctuating environment, ingredients, and demands.
• Weighs dough ball to ensure consistency within specified standards.
• Loads ingredients into mixing machine hopper from conveyor, scales, or hand-trucks.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and adheres to GMP regulations.
• Operates forklift to supply line with tubs of mix.
• Reports safety, food safety, and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

Education
