Surge Staffing in Sparks, NV is seeking a Machine Operator – Bakery Production to join our food manufacturing team. This hands-on role operates and supports equipment used to shape and process dough on a high-speed bakery line.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting, with prior food manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. You will follow safety rules, perform quality checks, and maintain clean, well-documented production

Qualifications

• Prior food manufacturing, bakery, or machine operation experience preferred.
• 6 months+ food manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn and operate specialized production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bakery production equipment and conveyor systems.
• Fill, shape, and mold dough sheets into various shapes.
• Handle and manipulate dough through the lamination process.
• Attach, remove, change, and clean dies, cutters, and other production equipment accessories.
• Monitor production line speed and timing to keep batches running efficiently.
• Check product and process specifications, including fat percentage and batch timing.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
