Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Shuttle Operations Assistant in Erlanger, KY. This role involves assisting with day-to-day shuttle operations, maintaining safety standards, customer service, and coordination with the Facility Manager.

CDL Class A or B license may be required depending on location, with a DOT Medical Card, and shift availability including weekends may be needed. Qualified applicants typically have a minimal high school diploma and some related experience, strong communication skills, and the

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: Per DOT Regulations, CDL Class A or B Driver’s License depending on location with Passenger Endorsement if operating buses with 15+ passengers.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Availability to work varying shifts including 2nd/3rd shift and weekends.
• Oral and written communication: clear speech and comprehension.
• Customer service: maintains positive attitude and responds to requests.
• Adaptability to changes in work environment.
• Judgment: sound and accurate decision making.
• Physical Demands: lifting up to 25 pounds; various physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
• Assist with management duties as assigned.
• Courteously assist customers.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report any known accidents or safety violations to the Facility Manager.
• Assist with cleanup of debris, spills, and other maintenance tasks.
• Know shuttle operation area, routes, landmarks, and freeways.
• Complete other duties as needed.
