Job summary

Vital Records Control Companies seeks a Driver II (DOT) to operate CMVs on customer service routes, ensuring chain-of-custody and data protection.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and handle PITs and handheld scanners while delivering or picking up materials. A valid license/MVR and DOT credentials are required, with opportunities to grow within the driver family.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
• DOT pre-employment drug screening required.
• PIT certification required (certification offered upon hire).
• Previous route driving or transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles including DOT-regulated CMVs to support service routes.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for pickups and deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate and compliant Hours-of-Service.
• Report any accidents, citations, inspections, or license status changes.
• Use handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
• Meet productivity, timeliness, and accuracy standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and chain-of-custody of customer materials.
