Empower AI in Reston, VA seeks an experienced Patch & Security Update Operations Engineer to lead patch management and security updates for the DoS enterprise environment. You will oversee deployment, testing, and compliance across global assets, ensuring timely remediation of failures within 24 hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining SOPs aligned with ITIL and DoS standards, monitoring antivirus compliance, and producing regular reports on patch status.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of patch management and security update operations experience.
• Bachelor's in IT or related field and relevant certifications.
• Secret security clearance required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and periodic review of the patch management process.
• Deploy and manage all CA patch/security update operations.
• Perform patch and security update deployment testing and maintain the customer patch FTP site.
• Monitor, report, and remediate all deployment failures within 24 hours.
• Monitor and report patch and security update compliance for all customer systems weekly.
• Ensure antivirus tools comply for all devices and monitor non-compliance incidents.
• Comply with DoS rules and DoS standards for patch operations.
• Develop and maintain Patch & Security SOPs aligned with ITIL and DoS standards; update SOPs for modernization initiatives.
