The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year experience with youth, and fluency in English and Spanish. Weekend and holiday work are required; a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework in Human Services preferred.
• At least one year of related experience, working with young people 16–24.
• Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and work under minimal supervision.
• Technological skills: Proficiency with computers and case management tools and office software.
• Driver's license: Valid state category 4 driver's license and good driving record.
• Certification: Certification under Puerto Rico Law 300.
• Availability: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and cover absences.

Responsibilities

• Meet with assigned students at least bi-weekly.
• Manage student incidents to ensure safety and well-being.
• Document meetings, address issues and outline plans for resolution.
• Coordinate services with other staff via memos, calls or conversations.
• Conduct dormitory inspections and maintain acceptable ratings.
• Model professional behavior and employment skills for students.
• Maintain up-to-date student folders and accountability documents.
• Ensure accurate data entry and timely submissions.
• Follow procedures for medical and AWOL removal logs.
• Record conditions during rounds in dorm logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
