Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Residential Services Manager to oversee a dormitory area for Job Corps students, ensuring a safe, structured living environment that supports retention and success.

You will manage residential staff, coordinate coverage, and resolve issues with discretion. You will conduct hiring and evaluations, provide training, and maintain accurate incident reports while supporting student progress and positive behavior.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of Job Corps or related program experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Residential staff and ensure dorm area safety and security.
• Coordinate staff coverage to supervise student areas; maintain substitute staff list.
• Interview, hire, discipline and evaluate Residential staff performance.
• Provide individualized case management in collaboration with counseling staff to support student retention and success.
• Maintain incident/shift reports; ensure timely follow-up and action on issues.
• Promote student success, retention, and completion of the Job Corps program; mentor students.
• Develop community linkages for education, employment, and career training opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to rest and meal break requirements and follow safety regulations.
