Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a dormitory supervisor in Sacramento, CA to guide Job Corps students toward positive living and achievement. The role requires maintaining orderly dorms, enforcing safety, and coordinating with counselors to support student goals.

You will perform administrative duties, monitor behavior, and participate in career development activities, with overtime as needed and a strong emphasis on customer service to students, staff, and center visitors.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required.
• A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance for students to achieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory living and to accomplish their goals.
• Determine, recommend, and arrange student visits to counselor.
• Assist in unit activities, including unit government.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories and center to ensure safety and proper behavior of students.
• Prepare daily operations reports and other administrative correspondence relating to students.
• Direct students and assist in cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.
• Recommend or requisition supplies to provide needs for dorm living and safety.
• Maintain dormitory and individual student files; ensure files are complete and updated.
• Enter student case notes in the center information system.
• Participate in career development services system by ensuring a safe living environment and positive peer leadership.
• Provide guidance, counseling, group sessions and independent living skills.
• Work overtime when directed to do so and maintain regular attendance.
• Provide positive, quality customer services to students, staff and other center customers.
• Support, promote, and enforce the Job Corps' Zero Tolerance Policy.
• Promote development of career success standards by mentoring students and monitoring behaviors.
• Other duties as assigned.
